Spuntech Shows Off Spunlace Solutions

04.05.17

TriLayer concept is being displayed at INDEX17

Traditionally, spunlace is one or two blends of fibers formed into a continuous fabric. But Spuntech, a global leader in hydroentangled spunlace nonwovens, is now offering a new three layer innovation in Geneva.

Produced through a proprietary integration of different carding technologies, Spuntech's unique new TriLayer web can consist of a scrubby top layer, an absorbent inner layer and a smooth hydrophobic bottom. Applications for TriLayer include hygiene, beauty care, medical, baby, household and industrial fabrics. TriLayer fabric weights range from 50 to 300gsm and can blend natural and synthetic materials into 12 unique variations allowing the different fiber mixes to create distinct fabric layers.

Vistors to Spuntech's booth, #1418, will also see a range of sustainable offerings including nonwovens producted from recycled, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable sources. Spuntech's production process is chemical-free using only purified water that has been recycled within its state of the art environmentally friendly and energy efficient facilities.

Spuntech's high quality fabrics with unique finishing options will be on display all week.
