Goulston Technologies, Inc. has achieved certification to the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard. The certificate was issued by American Global Standards in late October. American Global Standards is a registrar of Quality and Environmental Management Systems to ISO 9000/ISO 14000 Series requirements. AGS provides independent, third party assessments of management systems for all industries. ISO 14001 requires companies to identify their environmental impacts and continuously improve their performance within set objectives.
According to Fred Edwards, president of Goulston, the certification is a nice milestone for the company and its commitment to environmental responsibility. “A team of dedicated employees worked diligently throughout 2015 to ensure Goulston was able to establish a well-defined and robust system for addressing environmental and regulatory compliance issues.”
Goulston also is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Goulston first obtained its ISO quality system registration in 1993.
