Eagle Performance Products changes ownership

Company celebrates 40th year with new leadership.

Eagle Performance Products is celebrating its 40th year in business with a change in ownership. John Friddle, president of Eagle Performance Products, has acquired a majority ownership in the company. William Shaw, Eagle’s founder, will continue to lend his experience and expertise as chairman emeritus. The partnership of Bill Shaw and John Friddle started in 1995. Since then Eagle has become a leader in the flame retardant chemical industry. Founded in 1974, Eagle is a privately held company based in Calhoun, GA specialized in water-based flame retardant products. Eagle serves numerous markets including the automotive, aviation, construction and technical textile industries.
