Bolger & O’Hearn introduces Altopel F³

December 11, 2013

Committed to advancing environmentally sound technologies for the textile marketplace, Bolger & O’Hearn's latest innovation based on these principles is Altopel F³, a durable fluorine-free water repellent finish. Altopel F³ contains no organic solvents, fluorine compounds, or harmful surfactants. The company says a substantial portion of the raw materials used to produce Altopel F³ are derived from renewable sources as brand owners are demanding more environmentally sound textile finishes.

“Consumers are the ultimate driver in the market and they are demanding more environmentally sound products," says company president, Shaun O’Hearn. "When a brand replaces their fluorinated water repellent with Altopel F³, they are making a statement they are listening to their customers.”
