Elsner names new CEO

Bert Elsner becomes fifth family member to head firm.

Elsner Engineering Works has promoted Bert Elsner, II to CEO, president and treasurer of the company. He is the fifth Elsner to head the firm in its 79 year history. He succeeds his cousin, F. Rusty Elsner, who worked for the company for 25 years, 11 as CEO. Rusty will no longer be active in the daily operations of the business but will continue to serve on its board of directors.
 
Bert Elsner recently served as vice president with responsibility for the firm’s manufacturing, IT and human resources departments.
