Aspex Incorporated announced their participation in the upcoming INDIA ITME'2012 show from December 2-7, 2012 in Mumbai. They will be participating in Hall 1, Booth G23 and demonstrate their latest SpinTrak Spinnerette Inspection System technology for yarn, fiber and nonwoven manufacturers.
Founded in 1978, Aspex Incorporated is a world leader in designing and manufacturing Automatic Spinneret Inspection Systems. The SpinTrak family of Spinneret inspection system is specifically designed to inspect all types of extrusion dies/spinnerettes used in yarn, staple, spunbond, meltblown and spunlace applications. More than 330 SpinTrak Spinneret Inspection Systems are running in all major countries around the world. Many SpinTrak Systems are successfully running and inspecting yarn, fiber and nonwoven spinneret.
Aspex head office and factory is located in New York, NY. The Mumbai office is headed by Prerak Sheth who is director of sales where both domestic sales and international sales is coordinated for the company. Aspex’s India office also provides sales service for the Asia market. Due to the number of systems sold into the China market Aspex Inc. has recently established an office in Shanghai as well.
“Today companies recognize how critical the performance of extrusion through the spinneret capillaries is to the throughput and quality of the final product whether it is fiber, filament, spunbond nonwovens or meltblown nonwovens,” says Gerald Henrici, president of Aspex Inc. “Today production lines operate at much higher speeds with higher yields and more value added applications. The trend is for smaller capillaries in most production types along with an array of new polymers, additives, and recycled content making pack life and cleaning the packs a higher priority. When factories build new plants today, automatic spinneret inspection is now considered a necessity as manual inspection can not do the job properly.”
