DAK Americas LLC, Charlotte, NC, will increase the price for all polyester staple fiber (PSF) products $0.06 per pound effective October 1, 2012. The company had previously raised the price for PSF by $0.03 per pound as of September 1.
This increase is necessary due to the continued upward movement of raw material costs, the company says.
