Aquaflex PCMC, a leader in the design and manufacture of in-line presses, has released a new mid-range inline flexographic press. The ELS MAX has combined the best technologies from both inline and wide web CI presses, resulting in a press that provides superior web handling and registration, the company says. Advanced features and innovative design allow this machine to change press parameters quickly for optimal efficiency on many materials.
The ELS MAX is fast and efficient, offering 24-, 28- and 32-inch web widths capable of running up to 1000 FPM with up to a 30-inch maximum repeat. Plate and anilox sleeves further increase changeover speeds, and the ELS MAX is designed with Rockwell control technology, ensuring customers of its trustworthiness and reliability.
In addition to speed, this press offers high versatility. The ELS MAX can print on a wide range of materials, from low gauge plastic film to heavy point tag stock. Drying systems are available for any type of ink, including solvent based, water based and UV inks. Available options for printing applications include labels, flexible packaging, laminating, rotary die cutting, backside printing and continuous running winders.
