Continuing the company’s strategy of geographic expansion, technology leadership and growth in both label and specialty converting markets, RotoMetrics, St. Louis, MO, announced that Robert “Bob” Spiller will join the company as president and Chief Executive Officer effective April 9, 2012. Spiller will be based in Eureka, MO, and will be responsible for all global operations, reporting to the Board of Directors.
“Bob brings a wealth of industry and operating experience to RotoMetrics,” says John Lutsi, RotoMetrics chairman. Mr. Spiller was most recently president and Chief Executive Officer of SCT International, a high growth provider of security and anti-counterfeiting technology for commercial and government customers. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of Graphic Packaging International’s Performance Packaging Division where he oversaw a $315 million P&L targeting new product development in consumer packaging segments. Spiller also spent 12 years at Avery Dennison within the Engineered Films, Fasson Roll and Specialty Tape divisions, including seven years based in European markets. He received an engineering degree from Cornell University and his masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
