Paul Hartmann Ltd. was re-awarded a contract with NHS Commercial Solutions to provide continence care products to patients in southeast England. The new contract will last for two years with a possible two year extension period and will include a new delivery/invoicing solution.
NHS Commercial Solutions (NHS CS) has awarded the two year contract to Paul Hartmann Ltd. to provide continence care products to patients across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Hartmann was evaluated on a range of criteria including price, product, service and IT systems.
“The Home Delivery Service from Hartmann was found to represent best value for money—they were strong both technically and commercially in the procurement process,” says Ryan Bayliss, category manager for NHS. “The benefits of working with Hartmann were clearly demonstrated and we are looking forward to working together for the duration of the new contract.”
Hartmann has worked in partnership with NHS CS for four years, providing many solutions packages to the NHS trusts which include a range of cost saving initiatives. Education and training continues to be at the heart of the Hartmann philosophy combined with state-of-the-art products (with active skin protection) and delivery systems.
