Regent Neotex (Moscow, Russian Federation) has completed work on a new triple spunbond line from Reifenhauser Gmbh (Reicofil technology).

The Reicofil R4 special line will produce polypropylene spunbond nonwovens weighing between 8 and 70 gsm for both durable and disposable markets in Russia and Europe. Target  applications include hygiene products including baby diapers, feminine care products, adult incontinence items and underpads as well as protective apparel, construction, agriculture and furniture.

Regent currently operates two Reicofil lines at this Moscow location, which together make 26,500 tons yearly.  The new line has been operational since December and began running commercially in February.  It is expected to produce another 18,000 tons to meet growing demand from Russian and European customers.
