Braskem Polymers’ new generation of polypropylene resins for monospunbond nonwovens is a single-pellet solution designed to deliver an optimum combination of fit, softness, functionality, efficiency, cost effectiveness and sustainability for absorbent hygiene products and medical gowns and drapes.

In addition to this exceptional tactile and ductile softness, good tensile strength and abrasion resistance, Braskem’s product achieves a lower optimum bonding temperature than standard homopolymer polypropylene or bicomponent spunbond materials which means a softer nonwovens with less energy used in processing.
