He succeeds Andreas EULE, CEO of Cordenka, whose mandate has expired but who will remain a member of the Board as past-president.

He has been actively involved in CIRFS for several years, most recently as its vice president. He has a very successful record in the industry, leading a successful company which is the global leader in its products. The current situation of the manmade fibers industry in Europe and also globally is impacted by a recent economic showdown. However, the European industry, the second largest in the world, has strengths in innovation, quality and sustainability which provide the base for its future development.”
