Tank cleaning nozzles

December 14, 2011

For tank cleaning applications that require adherence to 3A sanitary standards, Lechler, Inc. offers two separate lines of tank cleaning nozzles. Each product uses a sanitary slip-on pin to connect to the inlet and has a smooth, slick finish to ensure that all sprayed fluid drips off the nozzle and does not adhere to it. The PTFE Whirly model is a free-spinning tank cleaner that has only an internal slide bearing for rotation and is self-lubricating and self-flushing. It comes in ¾- and 1-inch tube connections. The Stainless Steel Spray Ball is a static, non-rotating nozzle that comes in ¾, 1½, and 2 inch inlet connections. The materials from which both of these nozzles are made are compliant with FDA requirements. Each nozzle is appropriate for use in sanitary environments in industries such as dairy, pharmaceutical processing, food and beverage making, and high purity chemical processing.
