Nanocomp Technologies, Inc. Has Expanded Its Management Team

Concord, N.H.-based Nanocomp Tech­nologies, Inc. has expanded its management team. The company, which produces nonwoven sheets from single-wall carbon nanotubes, has chosen Mark Banash to join the company as vice president of engineering. He will manage process scale-up, quality control and manufacturing engineering involving Nano­comp’s carbon nanotube yarn and sheet products. Dr. Banash brings a comprehensive background in process development, industrial research, formulation science, quality control and assurance, chemical manufacturing and customer service.

Prior to Nanocomp, Dr. Banash was with Zyvex Corporation, where he was director for production and quality of the company’s nanomaterial products.
