Mark Snider has joined the consulting practice of Smith, Johnson & Associates as a principal. Mr. Snider was welcomed into the firm in late October and is expected to provide clients with expanded dimensions in equipment and process engineering as well as capital planning and value optimization.
Mr. Snider has more than 25 years of experience in paper, nonwovens and industrial production systems, including the past 15 years specific to nonwovens and hot melt process equipment with J&M Laboratories and Nordson Corporation. He has held key positions as senior controls engineer, European regional manager and technical marketing manager for three divisions on two continents. He is recognized for his prowess as a “troubleshooter” and for his expertise in strategic production system evaluation and process improvement.
Additionally, Mr. Snider is an accomplished speaker, having published and presented more than 30 technical papers relating to nonwovens and currently serves as chairman for the first annual Nonwovens Technical Conference to be held in India in October 2007.
