Designed to meet the specific needs of circuit design applications, a series of specialty valve products has been developed by Mead Fluid Dynamics, Inc. In addition, these products can be modified for other specific applications. This range of products includes pneumatic timers used to delay the air signal coming in or out of an air component. The delay may be adjusted from 0.75 to 30 seconds. Timers are available in either normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) models. Normally closed models are used to time in and normally open models are used to time out. These timers automatically reset when a new pilot signal is introduced. Stroke completion timers provide an output signal when rod movement stops.
