Scapa Medical has introduced Medifix 6042, a soft and highly conformable medical grade polyurethane tape for direct skin applications including dressings, wound care and medical device attachment. Gentle and moisture permeable, the product is formulated for use on highly sensitive and neonatal skin. Medifix 6042 is repositionable and easily removed from both skin and hair. The tape consists of a tan, 12 mil polyurethane embossed nonwoven material, single coated with a medical grade, water-based acrylic adhesive. The product is supplied with a 76 pound white polycoated kraft release liner and has passed skin irritation, cytoxicity and sensitization product safety testing.
