EDANA Has Elected Chairman

EDANA has elected Knud Waede Hansen, managing director of Fibertex A/S, its chairman for a one-year term. He will be replacing Rolf Altdorf, who is group vice president of EMEA, PGI Nonwovens. Mr. Altdolf has notably diversified the company's membership and market by extending its services to an international level. He has also increased EDANA's event portfolio to include the successful filtration conference and exhibition, Filtrex. EDANA's vice chairman, Luc Maes, and treasurer, Paul Eevers, have been re-elected to their respective offices. EDANA also welcomes newcomers Karl-Michael Schumann, director of corporate R&D Europe and Nonwovens Platform Technologies and Michael Staton, chief executive of Nice-Pak International, to the board.
