Air Flotation System

August 17, 2005

The Maxson Automatic Machinery Company now offers an air flotation system that enables entire sheeters to be moved off line for maintenance of extruder screws or other sheeting operations. The flotation system creates a steady supply of compressed air that is fed to six craters, underneath the sheeter, in order for the machine to be lifted 0.003 inches off the floor and glided to a desired location.
