Coloring System

August 17, 2005

BASF has developed a system for coloring and coating polyolefin textiles that is fast and flexible. It permits polyolefins to be colored, printed, coated and functionalized in a standard textile process and all with water-based formulations. Special pretreatment is unnecessary. The innovative system for coloring and coating opens up new applications for polyolefin fibers, which have been mainly used in nonwovens.
