Jari Mäntylä has been appointed senior vice president, finance at Ahlstrom Corporation. He will also join Ah­l­strom’s Corporate Executive Team. Mr. Mäntylä joined Ahlstrom in 2000 and currently serves as the Financial Director of the company. Prior to Ahlstrom, he worked in several managerial positions in the finance functions of Fortum Corporation and Outokumpu Group.

In other news, Ahlstrom CFO Svante Adde has decided to leave the company effective March 1, 2005. He continues support the company as a senior financial advisor based in London and as a board member of the joint venture Sonoco-Alcore owned by Sonoco and Ahlstrom.
