Klaus Peter Meier has assumed responsibility for the management of Freudenberg Household Products in Weinheim, Germany effective January 1. He replaces Hans Georg Franke, 54, who is leaving the company. Meier has been an executive at Freudenberg Household Products, the maker of O’Cedar, Vileda and Rollomatic brands, since 1995.  He was most recently responsible for marketing, sales and product development and was instrumental in expanding business in all regions of the world. He started his career with Procter & Gamble in 1983, where he was responsible for various management posts in data processing, production, marketing and sales.
