As one of the world’s leading providers of topsheets, Tredegar will introduce several industry-leading innovations. One of Tredegar’s latest premium topsheet concepts is SoftAire. SoftAire is an innovative, sophisticated film structure reducing skin contact area leading to optimal comfort and softness. The product is visually and tactilely attractive and maintains premium performance levels for acquisition, rewet and masking. A new grade is available.
Tredegar is also introducing new designs in its ComfortAire line of apertured laminate topsheets. ComfortAire is a hig loft and flexible nonwoven laminate that combines the softness of a nonwoven with the strikethrough and rewet performance of an apertured film, allowing consumers to enjoy protection with comfort. The new designs take the aesthetic appeal and performance standards of ComfortAire even higher. Colored versions of ComfortAire will also be introduced.
In addition, Tredegar will unveil a new product within the ComfortFeel topsheet line. The new grade is a cloth-like, soft, and drapeable film/nonwoven structure that offers a high performance level through the combination of selected raw materials and design.
As a global leader in elastics innovations, Tredegar Film Products will also introduce the FlexAire platform of elastic laminates line. FlexAire elastic laminates are supersoft, high stretch, laminates for large area applications such as baby diaper ears, side panels and adult incontinence garments. FlexAire is available in different levels of stretch and can be adjusted to fit the application. FlexAire is available in several new grades specifically designed for stretch ear applications.
Tredegar’s ExtraFlex elastic films bring ultimate comfort to personal care with a family of high extension films that have excellent retractive properties. ExtraFlex films can be used as elastics for laminates assembled inline on diaper and pants lines and as stand-alone elastic components (such as waistbands) of hygiene and apparel articles. The films can be produced as flat films or as three-dimensional apertures for breathability and added bulk.
Tredegar also continues the evolution of FabriFlex elastic laminates to meet the changing needs of the diaper industry. FabriFlex is used extensively in side tabs and waistbands of today’s best-selling diapers, and as a side panel in the newest generation of rectangular diapers. The FabriFlex 500 series are specifically developed to deliver the level of stretch required for large diaper ear applications.
