Oerlikon Enka Tecnica has opened a new facility in Richmond, VA for the remanufacture of long-plate spinnerets and meltblown die strips. Fi-Tech, Inc. Enka’s representative in the U.S. and NAFTA countries will coordinate all work in the new facility. Jeff Bassett, managing director of Fi-Tech, Inc., said this new facility will significantly simplify the remanufacturing process and reduce the previous turnaround time by several weeks.
