At INDEX 2008, Libeltex will show a brand new range of Dry Web three dimensional acquisition and distribution layers, which is made on a new production line, as well as the Janus product range, which combines topsheet and ADL functionality in one nonwoven.
Additionally, Libeltex’s medical business has made interesting developments for orthopedic cast padding, pushing the primary product requirements to a higher level by embedding surprising secondary properties, such as stretch, hydrophobic or anti-bacterial properties. For the automotive market, extensive research has led to the introduction of the Quiet Web range, a recyclable solution to the acoustical challenges to which the automotive world is exposed. New in this area is the Quiet Web 5000 M, a hydrophobic acoustical barrier, meeting the demands of the OEM.
The increased importance of thermal and acoustical insulation in the building and construction environment created the scope for a new product range extension: Isotherm is the nonwovens answer provided by Libeltex: a powerful full-synthetic insulator without the inconveniences typically associated with classic insulation products.
In the area of personal safety awareness, Libeltex is launching also the Protect-It range: a B-2-C product for safe, clean and hygienic working circumstances, for domestic and professional use.
Also, shown for the first time in Europe is VitaSAfe, the company’s U.S.-based development of fire retardant wadding for seating and sleeping applications.
