Multicomponent fiber extrusion specialist Hills Inc. will showcase a few of its latest innovations for producing nano fibers and other specialized fibers at INDEX. Among these is the new logo fiber that contains the Hills logo in its cross section any way it is cut. Similar to the Islands-In-The-Sea method, these fibers are created with two individual polymers, which are extruded into a filament creating images on a fiber. These fibers can be used for anti-counterfeiting and other security purposes; the technology has been licensed exclusively to ARmark Authentication Technologies.
