Groz-Beckert, the world’s leading manufacturer of tools for textile production will present at INDEX innovative products for the nonwovens sector. There will also be shown new developments for the product division HyTec jet strip for hydroentanglement systems. Groz-Beckert’s HyTec Gebedur jet strips combine long service life plus the highest quality demands of finished nonwoven products, throughout the entire lifetime of the jet strip. Already after brief use of the jet strip, prematurely rounded capillary edges can lead to turbulence in the water jet and hence to irregularities in the water curtain. Fluctuations in the energy impact of the bonded-fiber fabric result in irregular stripe markings on the finished end product.
The HyTec Gebedur jet strips made by Groz-Beckert provide resistant surfaces in the region of the capillaries. The long service life resulting from this enables the manufacturer of spunlace products to achieve uniform product features over a longer period.
