Fleissner

Booth 2331

At INDEX, Fleissner will introduce its SteamJet, which was developed with STFI Chemnitz. This machine bonds nonwovens by means of steam jets, which are generated in steam heads with rows of holes similar to those in Fleissner’s AquaJet spunlace system. The steam is overheated to prevent condensation in the product. Drying after the SteamJet is not required. SteamJet bonding offers the following advantages: hydraulic and thermal bonding with simultaneous structuring or perforating; bonding from one or two sides on belts or drums; sterile steam jets; suitability for processing all kinds of synthetic fibers, filaments and blends with natural fibers; web weights from 15 to more than 100 gpsm for multi-layer products and a possible combination with thermal bonding ovens.

Addiitionally at INDEX Fleissner will present its Aquajet hydroentanglement systems, which can be modified to handle pulp, natural fibers, high pressure opertions and a number of other features, as well as its range of through air dryers for the nonwovens industry.
