SCA’s and WSSCC’s training session in Haikou, China, was in connection to the SCA female crew team’s Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Sanya, China. Kersti Strandqvist, SVP Sustainability, is pictured center during the workshop.
Nearly 30 girls, ages 10 to 12, participated in the Haikou session where they were able to discuss their bodies, the importance of good hygiene during menstruation and that they should not feel ashamed but should feel pride.
