Superabsorbent Polymer Aqueous Paste And Coating

Patented is a coated substrate comprising a substrate material and an aqueous superabsorbent polymer paste made of a blend of from about one to five weight percent of superabsorbent polymer particles with a particle size distribution in the range of greater than 150 microns to smaller than 850 microns. The paste also includes from about 95 to about 99 weight percent of an aqueous water-soluble polymer solution with from about 0.5 to 5% solid level characterized in that the viscosity of the aqueous superabsorbent polymer paste will be about 1000-35,000 mPa·s.
