Disposable Absorbent Article With Wings Predisposed Towards Their In-Use-Position

November 11, 2008

A disposable absorbent article was patented for wear in an a undergarment. The article comprises a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The disposable absorbent article also includes a main body portion with longitudinal side edges substantially extending parallel to the longitudinal axis. It has transverse side edges substantially extending parallel to the transverse axis. The main body portion further has a wearer-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The disposable absorbent article composes side-wrapping elements that are integral with the main body portion. The wrapping elements are folded along fold lines and are attached to the garment-facing side of the main body portion so that the side wrapping elements are pre-positioned in an in-use-position prior to the use of the disposable absorbent article.
