Disposable Wearing Article With Improved Fastening Arrangement

July 29, 2008

A disposable wearing article with front and rear waist regions has been issued a patent. A crotch region extends in a longitudinal direction of the article between the front and rear waist regions. Paired engagement members are positioned along transversely opposite side edges of the front and rear waist regions so that the front and rear waist regions are connectable by means of the engagement members. The engagement members comprise first and second hook members permanently attached to an outer surface of the front waist region along the transversely opposite side edge portions, respectively. The first and second hook members are releasably engageable with an inner surface of the rear waist region. Third hook members are permanently attached to the inner surface of the rear waist region along the transversely opposite side edge portions, respectively. The first and second hook members are entirely spaced in the longitudinal direction of the article by a given dimension selected to permit the third hook member to releasably engage the outer surface of the front waist region between the first and second hook members when the front and rear waist regions are connected together by means of the engagement members.
