A disposable incontinence diaper for adults has been patented. The diaper features a front area, a rear area and a center area between the front and rear areas. The center area comes to rest in a crotch region of the user. The diaper comprises first closing means on side sections of the rear or front areas. First impact means are designed to cooperate with the first closing means during use of the diaper. The first closing means cooperate with the first impact means in an adhesive or mechanical fashion to close the diaper. Second closing means are located on side sections of the rear or front areas. The second closing means are located in a longitudinal direction away from the first closing means to be further removed from a hip edge region of the diaper than the first closing means. Second impact means cooperate with the second closing means during use of the diaper. The second closing means cooperate with the second impact means in an adhesive or mechanical fashion to close the diaper. The second closing means and the second impact means are structured and dimensioned such that an adhering bond between them when the diaper is closed is only released by a force that is larger than an adhering bonding force between the first closing means and the first impact means. As measured in a removal test as a maximum shearing force between the second closing means and the second impact means, a second force has an adhering bond between the second closing means and the second impact means between 45 N and 105 N. As measured in a removal test as a maximum shearing force between the first closing means and the first impact means, a first force has an adhering bond between the first closing means and the first impactmeans of between 38 N and 60 N.
