Patented is a method that includes converting a polyethylene resin into a film by a high-stalk blown extrusion process. The polyethylene resin has a density within the range of 0.935 to 0.948 g/cc and an MI2 within the range of 0.08 to 0.15 dg/min. The second step is to orient the film uniaxially in the machine direction. The oriented film has a haze of 20% or less.
