Disposable Cutting Sheet

A disposable cutting sheet has been patented for cutting and preparation of food items. A first cut-resistant layer has a first surface area and includes a first absorbent ply and a thermoplastic material ply. A second layer has a second surface area and including a second absorbent ply and a thermoplastic material ply, wherein the absorbent ply of the first layer is located on and secured to the absorbent ply of the second layer such that portions of the thermoplastic and absorbent plies extend beyond the first surface area of the first layer to form a border completely surrounding the first layer. The thermoplastic material ply of the first layer has passages through it and includes means for lowering the surface tension of a liquid.
