An absorbent structure was recently issued a patent. The structure features a first member for liquid acquisition and distribution and a second member for ultimate storage of acquired liquid. The absorbent structure has a liquid drip-off ratio of less than 50% in a fourth gush of 75 ml at 15 ml/s.
