Medical multilayer film structure

April 20, 2004

A coextruded multilayer thermoplastic film structure has been patented. It is comprised of a first layer comprised of a mixture of a homopolymer or copolymer of polypropylene and a block polymer of a vinyl aromatic monomer and a conjugated diene, a partially hydrogenated derivative, or a selectively hydrogenated derivative to which has been grafted a unsaturated carboxylic reagent. A second layer is melt bonded to the first layer.
