Panty liner

A panty liner with active additives has been patented. It is comprised of a liquid-permeable top sheet that lies next to the wearer during use and a liquid-impermeable backing sheet that lies behind the wearer in use. The panty liner is made up of one or more low hygroscopic materials. This group consists of wadding, tow, nonwoven and synthetic fiber materials, wherein the moisture content of the panty liner that is less than 2.5 weight-percent after 24 hours at 22.5° C. and 46% humidity, and where the active additives include lactobacillus and a deodorizer that is comprize of the materials zeolite and silica.
