A device engaged by a user for use with a human body cavity has been patented. The device feature an introducer member with a hollow volume and an outlet. The introducer includes a body having first and second side walls, an intermediate wall and an elongated opening opposite the intermediate wall. Part of the first and second side walls and the elongated opening are part of a main body section and other portions of the first and second side walls, and the elongated opening are part of a pivotal body section. Cut-out portions are located between the main body section and the pivotal body section. A liquid absorption assembly features an absorbent member with a length and includes a proximal end and a distal end, where a majority of the length of the absorbent member includes the distal end and extends exteriorly from the introducer member when the introducer and the absorbent member are positioned for inserting the absorbent member into the cavity while the proximal end is held by the introducer. The liquid absorption assembly further includes a string member that is used to expel the absorbent member into the cavity by the user pulling on the string member without pushing on the absorbent member while the string member is being pulled.
