Absorbent Article Comprising Flocked Fibers

An absorbent article comprising a cover with a body-facing surface, an absorbent core and a backsheet with a garment-facing surface, has been patented. The article also comprises flocked fibers, which comprise superabsorbent polymer fibers. The flocked fibers are not adhered to the cover’s body-facing surface and to the garment-facing surface of the backsheet.
