December 17, 2002

Patented is an absorbent article comprising a liquid-permeable topsheet and a liquid-impermeable backsheet surrounding an absorbent body. The article has a front and rear portion and a crotch portion in between, and is provided with a pair of belt portions attached to the rear portion, which are fastened together around a wearer’s waist.
