Diaper Construction

November 5, 2002

A diaper construction comprising a waterproof outer layer, an inner absorbent layer and a moisture-proof pocket member has been patented. The pocket member is adhesively secured between the outer layer and inner layer. The outer layer has a line of perforations that are adjacent to a wall of the moisture-proof pocket member. The moisture-proof pocket has a cavity containing a moistened baby wipe for cleaning a baby prior to putting on a new diaper. The moisture-proof pocket member’s wall is accessed by tearing an opening through the outer layer along the line of perforations. The cavity is accessed by rupturing the wall of the moisture proof pocket member.
