Absorbent Article With Child Resistant Refastenable Seams

Patented is an absorbent article prefastened in a pant configuration. The article comprises an absorbent chassis, defining a longitudinal axis, a transverse axis, first and second longitudinally spaced waist regions and a crotch region that extends between and interconnects the waist regions. One mechanical fastening component is disposed in the first waist region and the second waist region. The mechanical fastening components are fastenably engaged to form a refastenable mechanical seam. The first waist region overlaps the second waist region to form an overlapping flap transversely outward from the refastenable mechanical seam. The overlapping flap is adhesively bonded to the second waist region.
