On a recent Saturday in late August, more than 20 moms-to-be gathered at a local community room in Stafford, Virginia, to be honored at a baby shower for some of the area's military moms to be. The event was co-hosted by Huggies brand, Walmart and Operation Homefront. Each expecting mother enjoyed a morning of social time with other women experiencing motherhood with deployed spouses, in addition to games and light food. Each mom-to-be also received a supply ofthe new and Limited Edition Huggies brand Little Movers Camo Diapers and matching Wipes, which offer a unique and stylish design that allow little ones to salute our military by sporting one of Huggies brand's coolest and cutest diapers.
This event kicked off the Limited Edition Huggies brand Little Movers Camo Diapers and Wipes program that benefits Operation Homefront from September through November 2011.
Huggies brand Camo Diapers are available exclusively at Walmart. For every pack purchased during this time period, Huggies Every Little Bottom program will help diaper a baby in need by donating to Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. For every package of Huggies brand Camo Diapers sold, Operation Homefront will receive one diaper, up to 300,000 diapers. Customers also can create customized postcards to send to members of the military stationed overseas. For every postcard sent during the campaign, Walmart has agreed to donate an additional diaper to Operation Homefront— up to 200,000 diapers. Through both efforts, Huggies Every Little Bottom is committed to donate up to 500,000 diapers to military families through this effort in 2011.
During September, the Huggies brand, Walmart and Operation Homefront will host four more baby showers like this for expectant military moms in locations across the U.S. to spread the word about helping service members and families in need of assistance. These events are planned in Fayetteville, AR; San Diego, CA; San Antonio, TX; and Fort Bragg, NC.
"We are proud to partner with Walmart to introduce Huggies brand Camo Diapers and to join with Operation Homefront to support service men and women and their loved ones," says Erik Seidel, vice president for the Huggies brand.

Every Little Bottom is a Huggies brand initiative to help moms who struggle to provide diapers for their babies. A study by New York University shows that one in three American mothers have had to cut back on basics such as food, utilities such as heat and electricity, or even child care in order to provide enough diapers for their babies.Kimberly-Clark's solution is the Every Little Bottom Initiative, which in 2010 donated 22.5 million diapers that were distributed through 10 local diaper banks to needy families in the U.S. and Canada. To build awareness, Huggies brand has forged partnerships with a number of community groups including the March of Dimes, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, United Way, National Coalition of Pastors' Spouses, National Latina Health Network, National Association of Hispanic Nurses, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and many Junior Leagues.
