The year's biggest nonwovens event will kick-off today at the Boston Convention & Exhibition. IDEA16, The World's Preeminent Event for Nonwovens and Engineered Fabrics, is expected to attract more than 7000 attendees who will visit the more than 520 exhibitors from 70-plus countries.
“The industry is really excited for IDEA16 and rightfully so,” says INDA president Dave Rousse. “We are looking forward to welcoming to Boston the largest number of exhibitors and attendees in the event’s history. If there’s only one event to attend this year, it is this one so you don’t want to miss IDEA. This year’s location in the City of Science is sure to be stimulating and will set the stage for big ideas, inspiration, and industry connections.”
The event will officially begin today with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the main hall of the convention center. Here, Rousse will be jointed by delegates of the world's major nonwovens association and other industry insiders. IDEA 16 will remain in Boston until Thursday afternoon.
In addition to the exhibition, IDEA16 will feature live morning market intelligence reports from leading research analysts on game-changing trends in Greater Europe, China and the Asia Pacific, North America, South America, and the Middle East.
