Description:
The Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing marketing responsibilities consistent with the strategic marketing vision and priorities. This will include but is not limited to:
- Leading the development of Product Line Management (PLM) within the global Marketing team by developing or improving Marketing Excellence best practices in the following areas of the Innovation Stage Gate process with the global Hygiene team: Market and Competitive Analysis; Segmentation and Value Proposition; Voice of Customer / Voice of Market; Project Management; Commercialization; Product Lifecycle Management; and Product Line Strategies by Application.
- Globally define target markets, market share position, key technologies, market trends and competitive activity with input and agreement from the regional marketing.
- Work with regional marketing managers to coordinate implementation of Product Line strategies across the global business while keeping in line with the business strategy set forth by the Hygiene Global Leadership Team (GLT).
- Evaluate market entry needs for the GLT and market segment – develop market entry proposal, gain consensus among key business leaders, lead development of market launch plan, and lead commercialization processes and communications.
- Develop and coordinate the Marketing Communications strategy according to the GLT segmentation and global branding of the segment – working with the regional and global Marketing team on execution.
- Leverage market and competitive knowledge to develop strategies that differentiate H.B. Fuller in the Hygiene market.
- Conduct and make recommendations into potential new market opportunities
- Assist management in budgeting and strategic planning related to marketing initiatives and alignment to business goals and is responsible for the budget of assigned projects.
- Coordinate the strategic planning process and development for the segment (both at the GLT level and the regional level).
- Work cooperatively with regional marketing managers, business directors, global and regional sales organizations, technical service, and R&D/product development to drive projects and initiatives into practice.
- BA/BS degree in marketing, or other related degree required.
- 5+ years industrial B2B business experience, including B2B marketing experience.
- Travel up to 25%, predominantly international travel.
- Chinese, Portuguese, and/or Spanish fluency or understanding preferred.
- Excellent marketing skills in managing communications, market analysis and research.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
- Demonstrated ability to derive clarity out of ambiguity, ability to troubleshoot, and adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to work successfully, indirectly influence others, and deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.
