rnChanging demographics are causing problems for hygiene product manufacturers, particularly in developed markets. However, when it comes to the incontinence products these same problems prove beneficial.
rn
rnDue to improvements in diet and medical advances, people are now living much longer. Thanks to greater financial wealth, they are also remaining much more physically energetic in later life, travelling frequently, taking up new hobbies and playing active roles in the raising of grandchildren.
rn
rnUnfortunately, a large number of older people, particularly women, suffer from some form of incontinence. Some estimates put the number as high as one in three women and one in 10 men over the age of 50. Aside from causing great embarrassment, incontinence can effectively imprison these people in their homes. Therefore, products designed to help them deal with this problem allow them to enjoy the later stages of their lives to the full.
