Japan Vilene is going to increase the production capacity of nonwovens for automotive interior ceilings. To achieve this, the company is adding a new line at its Shiga factory which will begin operation next year.
Initially, the production capacity of nonwovens for ceilings will be increased from 9400 tons to 15,000 tons because these types of material made by Japan Vilene are superior in design and effectiveness. This has made them quite popular in mid-tier vehicles and Japan Vilene is anticipating stronger demand in the future, according to Nonwovens Industry Far East correspondent Kin Ohmura.
