Havix expands thermal bond production

Doubles capacity in response to diaper growth.

Japanese nonwovens maker Havix will increase production of thermal bonded nonwovens for the diaper market, increasing capacity to 7,200 tons per year. The new capacity, which responds to increased demand in the disposable diaper market, will be operational in  August 2015. Havix last invested in thermal bond production in 2012 when it reportedly added 1,200 tons of capacity to its operation in response to demand in adult incontinence.
